After several hours of work photo editing, I happened across some older photos that I'd been looking for awhile back that I took for just my own creative fun purposes, and found myself diving deeply into a tangent of personal art editing, which I haven't done in a long time. This was a joyful trip to Take, in spite of any of the many alternative bus-i-ness options I'm prone to choose of late. I always love Koi Fish. A connecting significance to this older image, is the Koi Pond inside the Embassy Suites, at The Peacock Grille restaurant that my Mother and Aunt, along with my nephew, took me to yesterday for my Birthday. It was a great afternoon, feeling loved and connected. On our way out, we stopped and played with the fish for a bit, watching them swim smoothly and pop their mouths out of the water. They seemed friendly and peaceful. Maybe those feelings and the poignant impact of the day seeped their way into this image. I had another image, from the batch of photos I'd rediscovered, in queue on the list for editing for much longer than this, but was drawn to just act on playing with this one right after I opened it. I found this to be a very pleasing result, and I hope anyone who gives it a look will appreciate that fanciful journey it suggests, and enjoy an escape for themselves.
