Description

When I lost one of my harddrives awhile back, all the original images from this photoshoot were lost. Thankfully, I'm going to be able to recover them because Orchid found the cd I'd given her after the shoot, and she'll be able to lend it back to me. :)

This is one that I had e-mailed so I could still access it through my account. I remember that I was always deciding between two similar shots like this for which one I liked more. But seeing as how I don't have the other one to compare with at the moment this one will win by default.

I think it looks very cool and cinematic. There isn't much in the way of editing done to this, and I do have some gripes, but overall I think its still a cool and engaging image that pulls you in.

I'm not photographer of people, that is for sure, however I can give you from one view point. For one, it seems far too vast. When I look at the picture my attention is not pulled towards her as much as it's wondering where is she? why's it so desolate and white? Also, the proportion of the two guns in her hand, the in her left looks far to large for her body and verses the other, the other is perfect, but that could just be the angle. Also, I think, had you shot a closer up, that not only would the photo be drawn more to her, but you could see more of her, and I do understand it's a conceptual photo. On the plus side, though I do think maybe the focus should be a little more on her, with less of a vast area of who knows, the empty area and the fact she's just walking around with a few guns in hand does impose the... where? when? what? why? questions. Leaves a lot open to the imagination. Also, the way her hair is and her body stance, she looks like she's a a beautiful woman on a mission, she looks strong and confident - which is great. Over all, I do think it is a wonderful piece with a great vision.
