Somewhere Out There Shannyn was standing there. Longing there. Her heart was aching there as she stood, alone on the corner; at the foot of the stairs, bundled up in warm winter wear. She wore a scarf wrapped round her neck and a wool cap on her head. Errant hairs slinked out from beneath it where they stuck to her cheeks, wet from her tears. If only her dark brown eyes could see through building and streets and things you can't even see. Things like the where's there and the avenues of fate. --- Therein lies John. Who is laying in his bed there. Hair sprawled everywhere across his pillow. His eyes locked in an empty gaze towards the ceiling. Captured in a lostSomewhere Out There

It's 2 in the Morning It's been two years, and it's two in the morning. 'Why is he calling me now?' she thought. The phosphorescent glow and the buzz of the cell phone seemed to fill the hollow of the cold dark bedroom with an all too encompassing presence, much brighter and louder than it deserved to be. It was deafening, and the tiny glow illuminating the darkness so unnaturally felt like the stark contrast of light created a pocket in the night, with only a dense void of nothing beyond it.

She swiftly clicked the button to accept the call before the phone had another chance to disrupt that black void of the bedrIt's 2 in the Morning

Trapped In An Elevator With YouWith a ding the elevator doors opened and a young man stepped in. The lighting was all warm yellow and reflected pleasantly on the imitation wood paneling that lined all the walls and ceiling. The floor was covered by a stiff maroon carpet decorated with gold designs of royal looking flourishes. In the right rear corner stood a pretty blonde, a girl close in age to the boy, wearing a long tan coat with big buttons and exaggerated cuffs completing the sleeves. She looked up at the boy with her blue eyes as he entered and took his place against the wall on the opposite side of the box. The doors closed with another ding.

I don't know what it is, but it's something about the way you adjust your pictures. It gives the picture a sense of nostalgia of some sort. You're not too harsh with the colors, but there is enough contrast to pull everything together. Even though they share that common theme, each photo is completely different. Great job, and great gallery!
